Shows and Workshops for Schools
Steve can create shows for different ages and topics for schools. Stories are a great way to learn while laughing and listening and stories can follow curriulum subjects or other themes. Steve can draw on a wide range of stories to create a unique performance.
Performances
Shows work best with small groups such as classes and this allows for interaction although larger sizes can be accommodated. A performance is not just about entertainment and teacher involvement is encouraged. Not only can a teacher model listening skills they can then follow-up on the material in future lessons, and the subjects and thmes of stories can apply to a lot of subjects.
Workshops
Workshops on telling stories and creative writing are also available. A teachers pack that includes the Book, 'Telling Tales:Storytelling as Emotional Literacy' provides follow up work.
